    Question Long tail keywords

Encrease traffic with Long tail keywords is much easy because competition is low. But long tail keyword all the time includes main, competitive keyword.

Will i encrease main keywords SERP if i increase long tail keyword SERP?

ex: if i increase SERP of " used cars for sale in Ireland" , then will i get better SERP for "used cars for sale" or "used cars" ?

I don't think the rank for the longtail would directly affect the broad term. However with you ranking for Longtail keywords, based on your campaign you may see an increase in the SERPs anyway. I would keep going after longtail keywords because they bring in more targeted traffic and you will probably see higher conversions because of this.

yes, i also think they are separate.
LT is relatively easier to manage. if you are new or not big site, LT is much better for you.

that's true, then you content also need to be blend with LSI keyword, not stuffing with LT keyword to get crawler attention

    Exactly !
I always go for the longer phrases (up to a limit of course).
It gets me the best results and it's much easier to rank for.

I agree. Having a LT keyword would bring in traffic much more than just a two words keyword. I personally feel that its just IMs or SEOs that target a small keyword. I've seen normal users type a full question in Google to search for a solution. When I want to search for a free downloadable MP3 song I would write "Download free MP3 songs" and then it provides better results.

Most commonly i suggest 4 words of long tail keywords which includes the target area. In early stages of link building its better to start up with long tail keywords. Long tail keywords helps to have good click through rate and targeted traffic with conversions.

how can we make sure all the keyword not scattered away while doing search, i mean not every internet user want to search by using exact keyword, a typical internet user just search by entering broad keyword

Because those who are searching for something specific (meaining targeted search) will enter longer phrase keywords.
Someone who's entering the broad keyword isn't looking for something specific, but might be orienting on the subject.

sometimes i wonder how many people on the net search the keyword by typing exact keyword phrases, i think most of internet user search the keyword they want in broad search term, only hardcore searchers i think using exact keyword

I'm marketing for a 6 word phrase for a website in the VERY high competition IM/online business niche and it's a VERY high competition keyword phrase.
But I'm climbing fast now...it's getting to be thousands of backlinks, but I'll be sure to get the traffic I need...

Well, using phrases makes it a lot easier to rank for broad search strings aswell. Most likely you'll be ranking for several or a lot of phrases if your content and relevance is optimized...
