Did anyone here get a free Facebook email address ?
One of my friends waited for about 30 days after he applied and got it.

Heard first time and really cool thing having a facebook email account.

As I recall, Anup has one. There is a thread somewhere about it.

You'll get notified automatically by Facebook once you are eligible for Facebook email. I already got its email: [email protected]

Sounds cool. So now FB only needs to start a search engine and they will be at top of the game giving a real fight for Google. I heard they already receive more traffic than Google receive per day. I applied for the email too.

It depends upon your account as how older is it. If your account is very older then you can get email invitation faster. If you have just opened few days before then it takes time to get invitation..

now im waiting for about 3 weeks after I applied to it, still no invitation

Mine is over 3 years old.

I created facebook account in the end of 2006, so it is 4 + years old

It is one more email and password to remember, I don't think so

But it won't hurt keeping your name booked. Lets say Nemanja@facebook. It's free and who knows if facebook gets bigger than Google. This might be useful one or other way.

aammm, not for me(don't like facebook ), I like to have only few emails and prefer my site address + one yahoo and gmail or what ever...

yea, its good to have few emails, but getting a facebook email also okay. nothing to remember, just reserving.
