Backlink Question - Please Help I am so stupid

Hi Dear,

I have been reading and struggling to have backlinks on my site it is in portuguese and I am trying to have in ranked on google.

I read that I have to create backlinks/anchor in other sites
Grab the address of the site and make rss feeds
and Submit it to other "directories"

I get lost with the term submit to other directories and ping it.
I have been doing my homework (reading, searching for info but sometimes is not easy to understand).

One more question if you dont mind, How can I use a backlink list ? I download a file with many good sites for backlinks here but no clue how to use it.

I read about few software that could do the trick but money is tight right now.

How I understood your site is in Portugal language..?!

1. You want rank for your language local KW or ENG KW?!

2. Where you host your site?

3. Look for local directories if you want rank in Portugal

4. Guest blogging is a way how you can get strong backlinks if plan build your site authority in long tem.

5. Index your baclkinks pointing 2ND tier links or using back-link indexing services.

If you are based in portugal and your website is in portuguese, then i would strongly suggest link building for .pl domains, and only targeting sites written in portuguese. I'm guessing that you really only want to drive portuguese traffic to your site, and to avoid competing with traffic from other countries, you will need to keep your link building efforts strictly portuguese. If you have a bunch of .co.uk links for example, your site will start showing up in search results for the UK, and since nobody will understand your site, you will have a 100% bounce rate and will never rank for anything.
