Thread: my effective seo technique

as new year is coming in few days
i printed 2000 calanders with the name of my website and very little description
and sending my worker with 100 calender to school in noon time to distribute the calenders to school kids ( always remember only to those school in which kids have more PC at home then other schools.

hope this technique will work and will get small but stable traffic, and i am also thinking if they like the website they will surely share it with their friends .

PS: i spend 4k Rs. ( 80$)

Unless your site helps in giving something valuable to those school kids, that traffic will be irrelevant to you!!!
This can bring traffic, but only if you provide something substantial for students to share you on dere facebook or like ur facebook page!!

I guess the results in your site's traffic stats after you hand out the calendars will be the true measure of whether or not your technique is successful or not! Good experiment, though--share the results with us here if you notice a good bounce in your site's traffic.

Good technique but it not sure that every niche can use this type of Technique .

This can bring good traffic to your website, and hope you get good results with this. Also update the results when your campaign is done.

this isnt a search engine optimization technique, this is a marketing technique. What website are you doing this for?

This technique is useful only if your site is related to study or entry test preparation and college would be better option than school

correct, kids do not buy that much online, but parents will.

college guys have more "own" money to spend, so try to find customer with money in pockets...

Good offline marketing tactic you used although it can be sent to workers neighbours to get good exposure.

if you really promote your site then do work online promotion. I mean start SEO for your site.

I would agree. Unless school kids find your website interesting and helpful, having PCs at their homes wont work. Your idea may work if you have a website related to kids interests like games, sweets, chocolates, dresses etc, otherwise try somewhere. By the way what's your business about?

Conversion from offline to online is harder than online to online. With the same amount of money, PPC can bring much more better result.
