Thread: How difficult is to sell Amazon products?

have you sold any Amazon products, if so then what kind of method you adopted, can you share your experience please?

Not difficult if you have free targeted traffic.

I think Amazon works well simply because they sell (either directly, or via third parties) so many products these days. As a result, conversion rates are good and you'll be surprised by what people end up buying - often products that aren't related to what you were attempting to pre-sell.

I never used affiliated marketing....sometimes I think about these kinds of work but it seems bit difficult to attract visitors to purchase product through my affiliate link. I know there are thousands of IM specialist who are making hundred bucks daily just because of affiliate marketing. Will anyone please explain about secrets of these kinds of marketing (if there)?

I use amazon on time. I like it to sell things like books and physical things that are smaller, because people more likely to order small things online.

Amazon selling is sooooo easy. You have millions of "card in hand" buyers looking to buy your product. Just post your items and wait.

I hate affiliate marketing... Trying to get rid of it, but with proper steps you can get high income.

Amazon is a great way to earn if you know how to do it. Setting up a mini site and throw few pages with unique content won't work here. Well It can work if you have loads of quality search engine traffic but you won't get high conversion rate. You need to make a niche site with everything detail you can find about the niche. also your experience ( can use others experiences and write like yours) Give your visitors what they want to know. Which is review about the product and more information which they won't find at online store sites. Remember if they want to buy it they don't need your site Amazon is known enough so they can just go there and buy it.

People come top your site to learn more about the product before buying it. So provide it and then provide links to the cheapest price and best product. They will use your link and buy from it if they are happy with your information.

Amazon is great way to earn money. It really isn't that hard to start up and get going. As long as you get some good keywords and targetted traffic you should get a steady income. Do some in depth reviews and get some articles up on your site. You want to make sure that you give your audience what they are looking for - don't make things too short or too much of a sales page as you won't see many results from my own experience.

i never try amazon affiliate yet. maybe after this, i think it doesn't even matter CB,CJ,Amazon or other else affiliate all you need to do is the right way to market the product with proper research target audience

In my opinion there's way too much competition in most niches promoting amazon products.
On top of that the commissions are too low to make a substantial income, unless you have tons of websites online.
I won't make promoting amazon my full time job...

so what kind of affiliate you promote, CB or CJ or other else... what's the best method you use

I only promote quality products...whenever a chance shows up.
You know as well as I do that most products are crap anyway and I want prospects to appreciate me for what I offer them.
I even tell them what product NOT to buy if it's useless or a scam.

I don't stick with one affiliate network, but for CPA I use Maxbounty a lot, because of the good offers they have.
Most IM products I promote are not with any network like clickbank.
Either instant paypal commission programs or self managed affiliate programs.

I’m using mini-site and niche site to promote Amazon’s product but it seems mini-site isn’t too effective anymore. Since Panda update, you need to work hard to rank up mini-site because the concept of this kind of website is set and forget (no update).

Now I prefer to build niche site (multi product). The advantage on using niche site is routine update. If you can consistence in updating your niche site by unique content, your site will be ranked well on SERP’s including for every single keyword you’re targeting in single post. If you did it, targeted traffic will comes and conversion will happen.
