Thread: can you sell your own products online?

Well, on internet we see that most of the people have joined affiliate programs and earn commission.

What if you have some products and you ship directly from your home, are you doing this kind of work?

I currently make most of my money that way.

Yes, lots of people make money that way and online sources like eBay are a great source for such people to list and sell their own products online. Additionally, there are several online portals where one can sell one's products and earn online though most of such portals require nominal amounts to get membership of their portals.

I'm using this method and I plan to excel in this too.

Many of my friends doing this and making huge money.

You can do, but then you've got to deal with clients, refunds etc. Which is why a lot of people prefer to be affiliates, it's a lot easier.

Yes I agree to that and selling your own products means to have a complete team working on it. It would cost more but if the products are worthy I'm sure this would lead to becoming a brand.

Very interesting comments.I am an affiliate Marketer and I think it is easier in the long run to let someone else worry about stock levels, invoicing, delivery etc.
Having said that, I would like to experience the other side of the counter :-)

Definitely, we've been doing this kind of business/services for almost 6 years now.

There is more money in physical products for sure, but most people don't have money for a warehouse, invetory ,workers , and lots of other issues. This is why personally I like affilate marketing no risk and tones of profit still.

Yes buddy there is no harm in it. There are lots of companies that are making money with the same way. Online marketing and selling has really gone up and most of the people like to share their products on internet to get high response in short period of time.

i see many single mother do this kind of business especially physical product that related to woman desire such as cooking (cake, cookies), sewing (new clothes or new design curtains) and so on.They use facebook or blog to market their product, and whoever interested just pm them and they will send away product directly by shipment process to your house

In my opinion your own product selling may reward you more than any other working. If you are a good idea creator and can make products to retain customers then it will reward you more than doing any job.
