Thread: Whats your marketing strategy??

As the title says, what do you guys are using to market your website or product? After google update its search engine algorithm, many people are thinking Youtube is the best way to market the product or website. And many people still are doing good with article marketing.

Some are telling that Google now is no more giving priority to Article directories for ranking, fast indexing..for getting traffic..

Now Google is more concentrating on Youtube so that people will make use of it for marketing purpose, so what do you guys think, is this true??

That's right. I also encountered such write up telling that search engines prefer Article marketing in terms of SEO. I don't have to say what strategy I am doing. Let my signature speak for me.

YouTube will be next big thing traffic wise.

Put your own videos that being made by yourself, that is very for sure Google will not banned you, the problem is people would like to take others video and put as marketing strategies

I have blogs, videos, articles and forum links, but I have also advertised with banners etc. I just don't always have the time to do them all at once, as well as my other work, but it all keeps me busy and on my toes

I am using Twitter for my marketing and believe me if you use it intelligently, it is best place to get Traffic to your sites and sales pages. My next step would be Facebook marketing.

I still use a holistic SEO strategy, which includes social bookmarking, blog commenting, forum posting, etc. I've been getting good results so far.

The main objective of our strategy is to be user friendly. If there is any customer/visitor at our website then we serve him like a guest. We guide him and realize him that how much important he is for us. This is the main point that we keep in mind and it is our business strategy that is really successive.

For link building I just try to get links from as many different types of sites as possible. Over time this really helps, provided your onsite content is decent.

I've also tried twitter a bit but never found the traffic to be that focused. To be fair I haven't really focused on it as much as other methods.

For my site, I just mainly focus on SEO. Through my experience in affiliate marketing, I have used a lot of free traffic generating methods excluding SEO. E.g. Traffic exchange, banner and text advertising, safelists, email marketing and list building.

One thing I have learned is that free traffic sucks, unless you are in top 10 google. Im buying traffic with adwords and I must say it save a lot of time(time i would spend is SEO) and I get far more conversions.

Just one marketing strategy won't work.

Your marketing campaign (if you're serious in marketing a product or service that's your own) consists of several strategies that support eachother for maximum results.
Paid traffic is the best traffic to get, if you know where to get it...

Article marketing is good especially if you sign up to those top article directories like ezinearticles. You can also make use of web 2.0 strategies such as hubpages and Squidoo. They help a lot in building traffic.

Does ezinearticles still send much traffic? I thought they were pretty well beaten down with the latest Panda updates so I haven't used them in a while. I do like squidoo though, it's very easy to put up a nice lens.

Many people thought that in Internet You tube is the best option to spread his business in the market. like in today's world all the stars promoting his films on the Internet. like that we have to promote our business on our company website. give all the information because Internet is the best source to spread our business.
