I agree with you, but I would like to add an extra point that to market a business online first of all it is crucial to have an online presence or visibility and that can be done by proper marketing of a business or products and services using direct mails, leaflets and inserts, advertisements in the newspapers, etc. The marketing must be done in such ways that the common people must get aware with your business and services and this can help your business to achieve a respectable position in the world of web marketing.

Awesome tips. Even though I don't currently use blogging or social media as my way of marketing, they are still an effective way for webmasters as a way of getting traffic and building relationships with other important people.
