Thread: How to use Facebook for SEO?

Google confirmed that they atentions to social networks like facebook and twiter
I want to ask if anybody can suggest useful tip how to use facebook for better SERP position?

Google also knows when a link is coming from a spam account or not on twitter/Fb so dont think you can just cheat by buying any old service from fiverr.

I am not sure what Facebook can do with SEO but I am sure Facebook is a good source of referral link like Facebook ads. I have never use Facebook Ads and this was just my opinion.

It helps in the sense that its social media proof. If a site gets lots of mention on social sites then that means its popular and it must be proving something people find of use = better ranking for that site.

you can share your links on sites like facebbok,twiiter(via satuts updates ) that will surely help your drive traffic to your content, but the amount of traffic will depend upon the mutual interest of the links shared.

you can use fb for marketing but for seo it doesn help much - my personal views

I think facebook has less things to deal with SEO since Facebook links are nofollow.

- Add your website's link in your bio information
- Publish quality wall posts and place anchor text in it
- Create group for your niche and add your website's url in it
- Encourage people to follow your hyperlinks
- Create your own group and encourage people to join it
- Dig out like minded people and follow them
- Distribute freebies and coupons
- Organize online contests
- Make your profile more interactive
