I googled Bathtub refinishing dallas this morning and found on the first page of google I had the #1 slot and the # 4 or 5 slot with a blog. I really don't understand how I got the #1 slot because I have been getting away from the .weebly.com domain and going to .us but I will take it!

Try doing the same search through hidemyass.com. Compare the results. HMA is a proxy service. The results you see through the proxy will be more closely aligned to what the public would see without localization and any elements of your search history that Google may be using to tailor the results. Google tries to show you what you want to see. The results for different searchers can be different.

I just did the search using 'dallas bathtub refinishing' through HMA and my local IP. In both cases your weebly site is near the top and the blogspot blog is around 9 or 10. (Since the words are reordered this is a different search, though.)

When I checked "dallas bathtub refinishing" in Google.com Your Weebly site same in second place. #1 was site called permaglazenorthdallas.com Here's the top list I got,

From #4 to #10 all sites were from Google services. But I think you should looking in to this part. Because all this listings were showing address and phone number right side. Just title and then contatc details in right side. These sites were in middle of search result and get searchers attention quickly. This is about local business and it shows a phone numbers. So rather than checking all sites people might dial those numbers rather then check one site at top.

Also most of other results you can get a listing or backlinks or push those down.

Thank you. I will check that out. however, the Dallas market is all I am interested in for my business. But that is still great info to know!

You never know when a property owner from another area may need repairs to a rental property. The main thing to be aware of is that Google may not give you the same results as your next door neighbor even for exactly the same search.

Absolutely! That was news to me. I knew things would be different from state to state or even zip code to zip code but I had no Idea it could be different for each user, I appreciated that info.
