Any suggestion would be welcome.

my main suggestion will cover nav bar font, make it more readable and distinct

Too Much colour, and fonts are not so readable as well

I'm not looking to be critical, hopefully this is constructive:

It looks like many other directories. Many business books and experts will talk about having a USP (Unique Selling Point) for your business or product. And I think that is pertinent here - why would anyone use your directory ahead of another one with more listings and traffic? There isn't an obvious reason at first glance, and remember that many web users will only ever give a site a first glance and go away again unless they have a reason to stay.

yes.Your website has to offer something niche.There is content or information for the users to chose your directory.

I agree with whitegyr. Also, try changing the font if possible.
