    Video Sitemaps?

    Is video sitemaps essential for a website??

    Yes, video Sitemaps are important if you have videos embedded on your website. Video Sitemaps will tell the SEs that these videos are equally important as any other web page of the website.
    Furthermore, if you add video Sitemap your videos will appear in the search results and your users will be redirected to your website for full playback.

    Search for XML media sitemap and/or XML video sitemap if you use WordPress. Great little plug-ins.
