Thread: How long is your video?

I need to create some videos, I need to know how long is your marketing video, for your own products, like e-book or report.
What should you think what is the optimal length for vids?

For ebook or report it should be something from 1-2 minutes, I think this is optimal time to create buzz, and hook up visotor to your website.

something very long makes your visitor or potential clients to back off because of the long introduction. just make it short like 2 to 3 minutes but be sure to have it a strong impact to the viewers

3 minute video is enough unless you are doing a movie video. if it is a product related video or something like product review the 3 minute mark hits the spot. Longer videos tends to bore customer.

I think one or two minute Video is good enough for product promotion. Too long Videos can be boring for Visitors. I am creating Videos for my client and all those Videos are 1-2 minuts long only.

Well, I am a Media Sciences student, and I would suggest you that length is not what adds strength to a video clip, but it's the wordings, presentation, correct use of images etcetera that help. Normally a promo video should be about 1 minute.

Basically it’s depending upon you. How long your video is not such important thing. But important thing is presentation skill. Present your product to viewer in less time. If your presentation is good viewer can attract easily.

Try to make the video catchy to the eyes of the viewer, in that I include good and appropriate song selection, flashy images and powerful words!
