How much keyword should be given in a article

If i want to write a smart article, how many keyword can i use in my article and it should be given specifically ?
i mean to say, in description of my article how many keyword should i use to get best rank in Google ?

2% is probably enough, make sure you use it inh1, h2, & h3 and bold it once. To much use of the key word can be counterproductive.
The originality and quality of the article is important.

for me you really don't have to worry about the number of keywords you will use in an article, just make sure that the keyword appears in the first sentence and at least once in each paragraph of the article, that is mainly what the search engine needs to rank for any keywords

I think you should use 2-3% keywords in your article if you are writing for other websites and if you are writing for your website, then depending on the competition you may increase as well.

i used the density keyword under 2% and the rest of them i just used LSI keyword and related and also relevant keyword.. diversify the keyword... don't use the same exact keyword for every paragraph

Same principle as content marketing and article spinning. Be sure to include synonyms inside your article to ensure you are reaching your largest target audience, i.e. cars in America can also be United States automobiles

If you mean is keyword density then it should be less than 2%. If you were asking about how many keyword to optimize in 1 article, it's best if you only use 1 keyword.

Seobunny is 100% correct. Write content for your audience and Google can figure out what it's about.

Google dictates everything and we just follow whatever they say it is OK. There are many changes these days that it is difficult to know which is correct about the number of keywords an article should have. I read a PDF on keyword (by one big marketer) who said that his site has been resting Google's Updates based on what he always include when he writes article for posting: He said your article/site should be structured/themed with relevant keywords and your article must be of good quality, unique, interesting & informative.

I agree with jack rice and aaronmatt, why because we need to highlight the content, then the reader pay attention towards it, so page rank also improves with good views.
