I just took a look at Wickedfire...

OH...MY GOD...!

Only the rules they have made me want to leave right away.
The language they use is rediculous...like kids in puberty.
Only 374 active members and the forum has been aroud for over 4 years...

And then they ask "...so please join our community today !".

"Whatever you do...we'll ban you anyway..." is basically the rules...

...

What a relief I found IMTalk...
This confirms again that in my opinion this is the best IM forum I've found till today.

Any forum is only as good as the people that use it and post on it, so that would say a lot about WF methinks. IMT sets the bar and then raises it all the time, and the amount of quality posts and services found here make it invaluable.

At WickedFire they also set the bar, but completely the wrong way. People are acared off this way.
What remains is a small cirlce (just like on the WarriorForum) who run the place and help no one but eachother.

The rest is put off with bad language and rediculous behaviour...

True, but sometimes people don't really know what to do with the sort of power that comes with running a forum. If proper controls aren't set in place, everything can steamroll into huge problems that cannot be fixed. and I think this is what is happening with Wickedfire. They Need Nemanja

I think, the language members use in a forum plays an important role to make it popular.
Really feeling glad that, IMT members are soft in their tone and most importantly, 'informative' in their posts.

It's a big forum. I guess everyone runs their forums differently, and people will always think differently about them. In the end IMHO, its what you make of the forum and how you behave on it that makes the difference.

That's total members....I was talking about ACTIVE members...meaning who actually participate and post stuff.

I really appreciate that you feel this way abut our IMT forum
There are certain decision that you need to make while running this kind of forum...
You can go with black hat, warez and hacking stuff, which may sound and actually be good thing to jump start your forum at the beginning,
but this will all come back to you sooner or later(like all things in life ) and you will have to fight all sorts of issues along the way, not to mention quality of that forum(there are few exceptions)....
Also this is not the right way for members to learn about IM, SEO, money making....
If you still think "this guy is full of shit, black hat is great", then I'm afraid that you are still not on the right way and our job here is to fix that, this is the core of our existence
Don't get me wrong, some SEO black hat techniques are really good and working, but where is the line which separate white from black hat...?
When I was planing this forum I have decided that I will not go with all that warez, hack, black stuff here, yes it would be easier, but I have chosen the harder way,
because I don't want our members to waist their time on that short term black hat thing, I want our members to take their business serious and to build their business for long term,
trust me this is the only way to go if you are serious about what you are doing!

It also takes a lot of hard work time and effort to not only enforce what you think is right for your forum, and it takes effort trying to mold a forum into a community. Not everyone gets that balance right, and some just worry about popularity and brashly decide to let people do their thang and not worry about the consequences afterwards. With time, nurturing, and a lot of good information, you slowly build a reputable community where people can learn, share and just talk as if they were old friends rather than mere acquaintances from another country. This is what IMT has become IMHO, and it gets stronger daily.

Wickedfire is famous for banning its members even if you say why someone is banned and you will be banned. That's happened to me. LOL

However IMT is an exception from all forums. Here we understand that we have to talk politely with others and help with thoughful answers to simple questions rather bashing on newbies. At first step, every person needs some help and IMTalk.org. is the best place on Web to learn internet marketing, SEO and other money making stuff. I bet you can not find helping tutorials like SEOBunny has delivered here on any other popular forum for free. So thanks Namenaja, for providing us a great place to share our thoughts and learn new things....I love IMTalk.org

I agree. WickedFire is worst. The members are very rude and behave badly with others members specially newbies who just joined the forum. They even use vulgar words (don't know why; I think they enjoy using that kind of words) and hate each others. Most of the members are disappointed. New members would never return back again in such environment. I wonder why such type of forum is still alive. In other hand, I got few sales there (but now I got banned due to their mad rules). This is one reason why some members stuck there; else that forum will be the Death Valley. Hopefully, I'm live here at IMT

Hahaha, i remember that day when Anup and I was banned at WF on the same day. Yes it is true, some good no of sales I made at WF but still the mods are too s****d at WF to ban any member without any reason.

Probably, they make the list of the members to ban in specific day and may schedule it right away.. LOL.

And the most pathetic thing is that I have contacted with their BST OP (Zingo) about banning and he has simply replied that he has banned 100 people today so dont disturb him for asking why he banned me.

I think Admin of WF must banned such mod who feels proud to banning members.
