    Is social media too crowded?

Lets face is, sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and so on have become quite chaotic with constant updates, photos, tweets, shares, replies, ads, and so on. How is one to go about seeing what they want? Of course there are features to block and see only what you want, but what about us who use social networking sites to advertise our sites. Do you feel the endless posts people make is hurting traffic for our sites?

    What do you think?

I believe in some ways it is, but adblock helps big time at taking off many ads. Of course, it's so easy for users to actually advertise for businesses because it's what many people do on social media. They share what they like and it interests people on their friends list in turn getting traffic to whaetevr it is they showed. Today, sites like Facebook are overcrowded with baby pictures, annoying opinion pieces and conspiracy theory posts that I've kind of come to the conclusion that it is in fact over crowded with nonsense. My experience is this, I rarely saw ads when I used Facebook without adblock, why? Because the endless posts people put up only bored me so when I saw some ads I just scrolled past them.

I do believe it is in many ways yes. There is so much shared on social media nowadays that in most cases it's pointless for people to click and look at anywhere else because they can see it all on places like Facebook and Twitter. I know even with forums they seem to suffer because of social media, it's like one big place that everyone goes and everywhere else gets forgotten.
