    Short domain name best?

Are short domain names best? I believe so, mainly because most short domain names are easier to remember. Yeah you can bookmark a page, but sometimes one forgets to do that, or maybe it's a site someone doesn't want to bookmark.

I just think, shorter is better, because it's easier on the person. And it can be one single keyword as well. What do you think?

indeed, short domains are easy to remember, but do they best describe your business?
just compare tt.info with thethought.com, I would say the last version is best. The Thought is the name of a local newspaper used only as example, the media institution has a another domain name, in .ro extension

Yeah, shorter domains may be easier to remember, but they aren't always best. Though, one can get a keyword from it, for example, Google is short, so is Facebook, and both of those can be keywords in their own. If you can make a brand name that becomes popular, it'll work wonders.

Short domain names sell better but the name should be meaningful so go for a short domain but make sure that it has some keyword.

Choose a simple domain name. Your domain name shouldn't be too long, hard to spell, or include unusual characters. Ideally, it should be around three words long, with no hyphens and shouldn't include any complex words. Short domains are memorable. A domain such as ""jimmys-new-and-used-auto-online.com"" is much longer and rather difficult to remember.

Yeah, as long as the domain name is iconic it doesn't matter. It shouldn't be overly large also. It can be big if the name is iconic, but I still believe a short and small domain is the true way to go. Plus that single domain could act as its own keyword in a way.

Domains shorter the better. It's a plus point if you include a key word in your domain.

yes I do agree with your . Shorter domains are part of smart thinking. Surely you can use short, but make sure it have reasonable name. I mean not like " JQIPAXYS" which has no meaning.
