External links from your blog are OK if they're no-follow. Just find a plugin that automatically adds the no-follow tag to links posted.

No matter how fast you comment, post, submit articles, etc. you still have to wait for Google to redo the page rank figures. Best to do it slowly and organically to avoid being penalized.

These are all great ways to increase page rank I've heard...but does anyone know how many links it takes to "level up?" I understand there is probably no hard and fast number that dictates page rank, but does anyone know approximately how many blog posts or signature URLs it takes to move up?

Surely someone has some experience with this. I know a lot of people on this forum have blogs that have PR>0, so they've been upped at least once. How long did it take you?
