It should be. By adding unique content regularly.
It would be hard, but one can do it as blue said

You basically need to look at your content. Keep it updated, new and unique, and you should be able to climb back up the ranking ladder. The Panda update focuses on low quality content and the only way to beat it is by making sure your content is of high quality and 'fresh'.

Yes it is possible to build the authority... You have ti wipe out all the bad elemnts on your website and need to focus on quality now onwards.
Ezine article directory suffered badly with Panda... but after starting it all again, I can see Ezine articles again in top listings.

Google is running a new Panda update every four to seven weeks. If your site gets slapped by the Panda then you are going to have to wait for the next update to find out if any changes you’ve made will get the Panda off your back. yes its very hard..
I seen personally how a website drops down for duplicate content and how is back when the duplicate contest has been deleted... takes about a week...
It is easily possible if your site is a quality site, not an autoblog or Content farm which are basically hammered by Panda...
I have recovered one site 3 times, in last 6 months from this Panda Update because my Site was all original...
Is anyone victim of G.Panda here?
Because I read on Forbes that Chappaz was one of the biggest victim, since his Wikio died after G.Panda
But still, his eBuzzing makes tens of millions of dollars, so it's still OKAY for him I guess
i never been slapped yet, at least for this time, but sometimes duplicate content still can be indexed by google , for example if someone copied the article from the news source, lets say steve job issues, he or she still can be indexed by big G
I thought I was hit by the latest Panda update when my site went from 4th place for my main keyword to 58th place. However, all my other keywords stayed the same. A few days later I went right back up again, so I guess it wasn't that, rather some big Google dancing of some sort.

Yes it happens with me as well, but Decrease in SERP is because of Panda update, we get back our ranking because we passed the quality checks...
Another reason for going down is we fail few point out of many points google check, they put us down but then their server realized good points about our site has more weight than bad points and it gives the rank back to us...
HI,
Google panda is basically an algorithm that slaps or penalizes your site if it finds some content farm or link farm...or content copied then it do so and once the site is penalized by it, then it is there for almost 6 months.
Its impossible to do that but you can work from the start and back to that position.
sherly is right you have to start from beginning
I agree, a friend got his site slapped by the panda and it fell right to the bottom pages. After contacting Google for a reason to know why it got hit there was no response from them and still we are unsure why it happened. The site had to be remodeled and all the things were done again. It was like starting from scratch.
Hmmm, I read an article this morning from the google blog about how to make sure a site is high quality : Google Blog It has a few ideas on how to make sure the panda never gets you.

i just read the article.. some kind of strict rules that google have implemented in order to make sure a site is high quality... but i don't think Google can go each of 1 billion website and evaluate it into details... as i said earlier, someone can copy the content from news sources still can ranking well

That's the thing. It seems to be a hit and miss thing. Because there are so many websites out there, google can't get to them all, and a lot slips through the cracks.
