sure you can but you need to do hard work on seo for same ...

and generate backlinks on natural way ..

the more compeititor you have on any anchor keyword .. the more time it will take to rank you up in seo .. but if you have good budget than i will suggest you to do adwords .. that will surely help you at fast ranking within hours ..

Well I think it will depend on the progress of the links, I mean you do complete SEO in your website/blog then maybe you can get a higher page rank, I am not really sure, since Google has no sure pattern how to rank a website.

First, do you keyword research . Pick a keyword phrase related to your site that doesn't have too much competing webpages and have high of searches a day.
It's easier to rank high for a less competitive keyword
(less than 30,000 competing webpages).

yes thats a fact but text still plays a major role
