Hey it have nothing to do with crawler but as user perception it look good. If you start it with Caps then it quite look good but if you have not then not to worry it's not going to effect your SERP ranking.
To my knowledge, capitalized or not won't make any difference to the backlink value. It's more a question of looks, so feel free to spell out the anchor text to your liking.
in my test capitalize anchors have minimal worst works, but as nemanja say its look more natural = so its safer

It should not be capitalize because when anyone search any keyword in search engine he doesn't keep difference between capital and small letter often all the searchers search their keywords with small letter therefore you also should use small words.
It does not matter at all anchor tag is a html tag which is not a case sensitive language.
Whether the keywords are capitalized or not does not matter. I think that is the smallest problem that we have to rank at google!
It doesn't matter to Google since if you search something in Google in all caps then search the same thing in all lowercase letters, you will get the exact same results. I personally like to capitalize social bookmarks because I like to capitalize words that are in a title. But when creating an anchor text within an article, I prefer to avoid putting the anchor text at the beginning of a sentence and not capitalize. This doesn't matter for SEO but this is just something I prefer to do.
As of right now, Google doesn't seem to place any importance on whether letters are capitalized or not in the anchor text. However, as we all know, Google changes it's algorithm around 500 times per year, so this could change at any moment without anyone knowing about it. The only way to combat this is to make the link look as natural as possible. I would also avoid using brute force on a keyword. Try to throw some variation in the anchor text like pronouns and adjectives since Google seems to be placing less and less importance on the actual exact match phrase itself and more on the quality of the linking site.
I think it does not matter if the anchor text are capitalize, google where see it as same. What is important is that how you convey your message to others.
