The fact that it has "Search Impact" data is a dead giveaway. However, I see the your point that it does not say it explicitly. I guess we will have to wait to see.

The reason I started this thread is because I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with +1. It would be great to have someone with enough +1's to give us some actual #s. At this point, all we have to go on are a few facts and a lot of speculation.

Techcrunch ran a story about what they are seeing from +1 at the moment. Obviously they dont need too much help with SERP's but it does explain the amount of increased traffic they are seeing from it though.. i can't post links here yet but the end uf the url after the .com is /2011/07/05/google-plus-sharing/

from my personal of view.. this +1 feature will intergrate with brand new google social network.. that mean when you click that +1 button, the URL of that particular link will show up at your home/profile/wall of Google +1 Social Network, then friends of yours will see that link and considered it as useful according to certain topic in Circle features

I have not heard about +1 affecting SERPS either, but with Google, you can never know. They don't usually do something without some sort of plan behind it. I know its going to integrate with the social network as well. i think its a bit early to tell about it though. For now, it seems that it is mainly used to recommend sites, services and products to everyone on your own Google +1 Network. If they expand from that, they will probably tell us when they are ready.

Definitely you can, but I am sorry to say that won’t help you much because Google is not considering +1s from accounts that do not have much activity other than just hitting +1...

From everything that I have read about +1 it is essentially Google's version of the Facebook Like button. Clicking on the +1 is essentially just creating a bookmark which can be viewed by others within you Google social network. You will also see sites you have +1'd will appear at the top of your own personal search results pertaining to keywords relevant to that site. But Google Bookmarks has been doing the exact same thing for while now. It is too early for Google to have changed their search algorithm's to incorporate SERP consideration into +1. They more than likely have plans down the track to incorporate it somehow but it is highly doubtful that they will place such an important weighting on a brand new feature after some of the more recent product flops they have rolled out..

hmm.. so much opinion and little bit confusing, lets wait for another 3-4 month and see the real purposes of this +1 button, now its too early to speculate

What does everyone think? This can be done in sharing manners by Google +1. that you google +1 it by self than Google indexing our site Link to other Social space.

For indexing new page now you no need to help some big sites, becuase google crawler is now more faster, in few hours your site or post will be index. BTW i must say something for Gplus.
Don't way i think Google plus will beat after sometime, because already gplus got 10 million users, and you know what gplus is not launch yet for everyone, in few weeks it just awesome figure
