Some advice about affiliate programs needed

Im a web designer who is looking into building a network of affiliate wordpress blogs that will provide useful information on the products in my chosen niches, but primarily they are to entice my readers to click through to other sites and buy something and will be topped up with Adsense.

I have signed up with a few affiliates and looking through their banners etc there a limited few i want to use, my intention was to use deep linking.

Am I right in thinking that I can browse the chosen sellers website and select any product i choose to, and then write a blog post about it concentrating on SEO for the chosen keyword and just use keyword hyperlinking inside the copy with the affiliate link embedded so that I get the commission?

Some have special offers and such and I will consider those but really my intention is to feed off other successful sites by blogging about their products.

Any tips would be grateful, be nice cos this is only my 4th post

I am also kind of new to this with Clickbank products in particular. I learned recently that you should make your affiliate links nofollow so you don't pass unnecessary link juice to affiliate pages. I have read in the past that Google is not very fond of web pages that have a lot of affiliate links on them, but this should not matter if the links are nofollow.

There is no value in having them follow it, and if that would cause the site not to rank then its something that needs to be considered when its been built, can anyone confirm this as true?

I kind of know what I'm going to do, Id just prefer someone to point out the best route to promote the companies.

Instead of me looking through their banners, could i not just look on their website and pick any product I choose that fits into my niche? If I then do a blog post and say "yes this is great blah blah blah and by the way, ThisPlace is having a sale on at the moment why not have a look" Is this how some people do it or do they just look through the companies offers on the affiliate site. Christmas offers and such and promote them?

This will depend on the affiliate program and affiliate network. On Commission Junction some programs allow deep linking. I think most on Google and LinkShare do allow deep linking.

This is the way that you need to do affiliate marketing. It is one of the things that you should check when considering joining an affiliate program. If they do not allow deep linking pass on the program. I use some banners, usually in a side bar location, but most visitors are banner blind. In context linking is the path to success with affiliate marketing. If you use images in your post don't forget to link them to the product page as well.

I thought that was the case, so thanks for confirming that. I sort of know the approach I'm going to take, I just wasn't sure how Google looked upon a site with obvious affiliate linking in mind. Ive seen some comedy spam sites recently and it looks like the Panda got them. My intentions for these sites are to blog regularly about the products so it won't be a static site once built.

I agree with him. this the best way. or about affiliate link if you are using wordpress website then you can use go codes to cover your affiliate link and make them look seo friendly.

also if you can make a niche blog by reviewing different product related to your niche and rate them you can get lots of traffic and money. you can go to offervaultdotcom to check niche related product that you will be using.

    I hope thats help..

No go codes, please. I don't know if it's true/hoax but there is a rumor that go codes developer do cheating by sometime replacing your affiliate link with their link.
