Thread: Where are Moderators ?

I am a War Room Member of warrior forum and came here to find something good but till my journey i had just found most of the post useless. I dont know where are the moderators of this forum. I had came here to gain something but i am really disappointed on seeing such post that says "get high PR links" and the list they give is completely useless.

The most awkward thing is that most of the SUPERSTARS of this forum are doing that. They are just placing a Good Headline in the post and then placing there links and blindly promoting themselves without any useful information All links they give are almost useless.
I am very disappointed on seeing this trend here

If this will continue i have to leave this forum. May be it wont have any effect on forum but all i can say is that this forum is losing its vision. Hope the Admin will notice this.

With respect, I am here, and I am watching, and so is Nemanja (admin) and Wink0r. If this is a continuance of a post added earlier (that I have removed) then I would just like to say that you are going about this the wrong way. If you feel that a post is of low quality and needs to be removed, then you report it to us so that we can take care of it, as you would on any other forum. I also do need to remind you that the forum is open internationally and that sometimes (not always) there is a language barrier that needs to be taken into consideration. The post in question was also just a harmless bump to see if they would get a response to a question posed, which seriously did not require the response it did.

There are always going to be factors in a forum that members are not going to be completely happy with. The mods here, as well as our Administrator have been doing a lot to make sure that the experience here at IMT is the best it can be. There are threads in the marketplace that only require a one line sentence and that is to request either a review or a pm with information, so in many cases it may seem like a low quality post, but they are sticking to guidelines set by the thread creator. The decision is yours at the end of the day, and we will not hold it against you, but I believe that you are only seeing what you want to see and not really giving the forum or its members a chance to prove itself (which shouldn't be necessary in the first place.).

I am a mod on this forum, but speaking as a member of the forum rather than part of the team I would like to respond to this.

With your attitude I think that the Warrior Forum is probably a better fit. As an 'seoguru' you should know that any list that is publicly posted will be spammed to death in short order, and yet you have complained many times with what people offer without charge. If you found anything of value in those posts it would be more than what you paid.

I have a sister who is five years older than me and somewhat opinionated. She would go off on a rant about her school teacher at the supper table on a regular basis. Many many times I heard my mother tell her that if she didn't have something nice to say she shouldn't say anything at all. That wisdom has been of value to me through my life. I think that it could also be of value to you.

There are many people that come here after spending time on the Warrior Forum. Several have commented that they like it here because there is a positive attitude. A community of people helping people is what I think the 'vision' of this forum is, and I think that it does a good job of fulfilling that vision. I have watched it grow from under two thousand to nearly twenty thousand members in a bit over a year. I think that the progress has been amazing and it will continue with or without you.

Couldn't of put it better myself, the main reason why I left warrior was because of the same attitude displayed in the post at the top, I was sick of people moaning about a service given if that user don't like the free services offered here then boohoo you can't please everyone, its not really a loss, 8 posts contributed...

Just to add something once more, because they said it already and as a matter of fact I wrote about this yesterday.
If you think some posts are violating forum rules or they are not of good quality, please use report feature, we are all mods here after all.
Another thing, we can't download every list posted and check for every page of particular blog, forum or what ever to see if it is any good or spammed,
I would like to ask you are you for real, do you really hear yourself and what you are talking here , do you really think that this is something that mods/admins need to do?? C'mon...!

that's why I think you are here only to trash and rant.

I agree with the moderators on here and that's because i'm a super moderator on a larger webmaster forum. It also helps when members help us out by reporting posts and then rather then respond in the thread to the post they reported, they move on to another thread and let a moderator deal with that report when they get to it.

Mod's are humans and not around 24 hours a day. Sometimes it could take a few minutes to a few hours to get to the reported threads. Depends on a lot of factor's. I myself, sometimes get so stressed out because i see the same crap day in and day out but we are cracking down on a lot of things and made changes to the forum that actually puts more stress on our admin in which has a lot of behind the scenes stuff that she already does.

Most people on webmaster forums have no clue what the admin's and moderators discuss behind the scene's to keep a webmaster forum running and stay on top of stopping people using automated software to created multiple accounts to do puppet shows in the marketplace, spamming for backlinks...etc

I always get upset when people say mods do nothing because in reality, we know how much work we do on our forum besides run our own sites or be a family person. My tiny rant is over, i need to get back to work on the other forum. lol

I'm backing up the mods here 200% with what they've already told you.

You think the WF is all that good and professional ? Or even you yourself ?
The WF has lost its quality for me and a lot of others a long time ago, because of the average attitude most are displaying there and too many are ripping fellow members off with their useless solo ads.
I find a lot of the same kind of posts you've mentioned in your OP...lots of useless and obsolete information, just like on all other IM forums.

And what the heck is if you are War Room member at WF? I am War Room member also, I challenge you if you are able to provide a single so called quality free url list from there even from War Room? I know you can't.

And yes, totally backed what already saying by Mods, Admin and other fellows here. We love to distribute our knowledge here and contribute with our great spirit. I am waiting your response!!!!

EVERY day IMTalk gets LOTS of new members...new members who find quality information here and more importantly...honesty and helpful people.

From what I see in the threads(One of them created by Anupviews who is a Superstar) that the topic creator is complaining about being useless, he seems to be under the impression that a newly created profile or blog page with no PR that is a part of a high PR domain(E.g. PR 9) is no better than a profile or blog page with no PR that is a part of a domain that has PR 0. This is false and I have seen evidence that this is not the case through my own experience with my own eyes. I have seen that there is a spillover effect based on the PR and authority of the domain regardless of what the PR of the newly created subpage is.

I can stand up for the mods of this forum. They do moderated it as I have personally gotten an infraction from them for my own mistake by posting in the wrong spot. However, if you are looking to find useful information you can find it in this forum and in the warrior forum. You can find information that may not be useful in this forum and the warrior forum. One of the purposes of forums is to EXCHANGE ideas and if you know of something to be false either through evidence or your own results then state it. This forum allows others to place information that may say high PR backxxxx, just like the warrior forum, but it is up to YOUR discretion to determine if the high PR backlxxxx are what they are. If someone is touting to have high PR profile backxxxx, i.e. Angela and Paul, anyone with common sense and knowhow of the PR, KNOWS that when you create a new page the page is Zero or N/A - period; end of story and does not need to beaten to death.

My question is, as a member of the forum and contributor, why don't you claim authority and TEACH them something? Instead of spreading the SEO nonsense that continues to go on every single day, and how PR 5 backxxxx will get you better ranking? Or claiming that mods are not moderating?

PR 5 links help sometimes? It could and it couldn't? Right? Or am I wrong? You certainly can get number one position for keywords with PR 0 links. The foundation of a website should have mostly PR 0 links, and as the PR of the links (on the page) goes up so does the site structure, i.e. a site backxxxx structure should look somewhat like a pyramid where the PR 0 links are at the bottom and the higher PR links go up in the pyramid linkage structure.

Today out of ignorance and GREED, many are getting sites and buying high PR backxxxx to get their homepage PR 6 or 7 or whatever? That structure is more volatile and if the lxxxx are paid can put the site at risk; that is why my sites with PR are my sites, they are not for sale, and I don't place paid xxxx on them.

Lets say there is a lottery winning game. You got in that game and won the lottery. We have the angela and paul type services banned from our marketplace section. We don't want those types of members on our forum anyways. There is more to this but not going into details.

There are other things to worry about people creating fake signatures, duplicate accounts, lying about there location, doing pupper shows in the marketplace to spice up there product or service that they are selling. The list goes on mate.

Thanks to moderators and hopefully good members who report threads, the crap can slowly get taken care of.
