Thread: Should the thanking system be improved?

How about using pure Ajax? And a more prominent button?
Good posts seem to be disregarded at times.

How would you point out the really good posts? Although I agree many good posts get neglected at times.

I agree with this, but this is only VB mod and I can't do much with it in terms of coding.
I can however change color of the thanks button or/and make it little more bigger/bold, like standing out...
You can suggest some color if you like.

I think Green Thank button would be great. It's pleasant color and not too sharpy.

May be blue button matching with the skin..

Blue or Green ....both are ok with this skin ,the choice its up to our chief Nemanja............

I have changed it to blue and replace "Thanks" with "Give Thanks".
What do you think?

Well, you see. Blue color is invisible because of theme. It's still stays invisible but if you make it dark green or even RED, people will see it
And if you have statistics of how many thanks were given per day, after changing color I bet you'll see it's gonna increase.

It may be possible to add a border through an inline style (<li style="border: solid 2px red;">) to the element or maybe use a button image there to make it jump a bit. I do like the addition of the word give.

I changed so much colors, and none is working right...
I think this one is on the good road, maybe some more tweaks.

It looks like somewhere in the css there is a class - .post_thanks_button - where the inline style or image url could live.

There wasn't one, but I created new class in one of the css files...
If I catch some time I will create more stand out image for thanks button.

Same word 'Give Thanks' is at the post info (top right site). May be it should be something like 'Thanks Given'.

They where using same global phrase..., so now I added new phrase for Thanks Given and this is corrected.

You can place a 3 levels of Thanking 1 Star..2 Stars...3 Stars or some thing like that...
