Thread: Update: EPN (eBay Partner Network) Switching to RSS 2.0 Deadline May 31st!

Update: EPN (eBay Partner Network) will be making the full switch to RSS 2.0 on May 31st. Just wanted to post here just in case you all didn't hear or just as a reminder. This is especially important for those using 3rd party plugins like the ones mentioned below.

WPRobot just came out with their official update today. So if you have an autoblog using their plugin, don't forget to upgrade. That's what I'll be doing this Memorial Day Weekend (while I reminisce about all my EMDs on page 1 not so long ago)...

If you're using phpbay, bans, wprobot, wordbay, etc... make sure you've upgraded to a compatible version or your links are going to stop working. Here's the info on 3rd party providers by epn (If you're unsure of the compatibility status contact the respective plugin author):

This might be a off topic question are you using eBay partner program ? If you do then could you tell us about how good is earnings and CTR ?

It all depends on your quality of traffic you send. It changes everyday. If you don't send converting traffic, epc is low. When you refer new signups to ebay and they buy something, that is a big plus. When you sell something expensive is a big plus, but it's not percentage based like other affiliate programs like amazon. It use to be, but they changed it. CTR is great. But, if they're just looking and don't do any actions on ebay, it's bad. This is just like the adwords quality score (which I'm just learning about now). So, if you send quality traffic (ie, buyers), then you'll get high epc. It can range anywhere from .02 to .50+ per click. The good thing is that anything you could ever want to market is on ebay, so finding product is easy. That's what these 3rd party plugins are great at. Simple shortcode and you're monetized, so you can worry about traffic generation... PM me if you need anymore info....
