Building a good blog needs a time and effort. You need to provide good content and makes good relationship with the commentator. That's why, don't start a blog if you think you can't consistence to make an update.

when someone almost having a blog, knowing some SEO also very helpful. So I think its also a tip to start a blog.

Your blog is around 2-3 years old ? and it probably had over 200+ posts. So im sure you get loads of traffic.
