I want to ask that is social bookmarking to high PR websites good to increase website ranking in Google.

Because I have heard that social bookmarking are only good for indexing.

its good to get more visitors your site and for good rankings. About PR increase, I'm not very sure.

Google love these social bookmarking sites. May be not affect your page rank, however you will be considered more credible for Google if your stories become viral on these sites.

It is not worth that much link wise, but can be worth traffic wise and getting indexed lots.

If those SB profiles has a PR and links are Dofollow then those will help you to increase your site PR. But the problem with most of these Profile sites is inner pages don't gain PR often.

Yes social bookmarking is good for ranking. Because via social bookmarking you can generate the dofollow back links. If you are doing social bookmarking in high PR websites it means your site will get fast ranking.

Yup, thats why mostly social bookmarks are better for increase search engine rankings. With IMT tool, I experienced that well. I don't think that they will help to get good PR. Just good for SERPS

Bookmarking is good for indexing...But if you got high pr social profile and choosed proper tags, it will be a good link.

social bookmarking is pretty good for backlinks but its really good for getting your site indexed fast. i use 2 different sites to automate the process. i cant post links yet cuz i just registered but if you type in socialmatic dot com or socialmarker dot com, you will see them. hope this helps.
