Did You know Yandex?

Yandex is a russian biggest search engine.

yandex.com | yandex.ru

i dont use them , but I know well their bot. Their is a frequent guest on my servers. Yandex is well know from hard harvesting server without mercy. I dont speak russian like languages, I dont sell anythink in their market, i do not promote my websites i east side of europe - but my servers are still ddosed from this search bot ;/


So my today decision is dissallow acccess

User-agent: Yandex
Disallow: /

Thank You! I block also by ip - but Your htaccess code looks like greater than my so i use them. But You should update code with 87.250.224.0 new Yandex ip also.

I remember Nemanja's code. It's worked very well.

Yandex and some other search bots were giving me a headache while ago coz those were eating my VPS resources.

I really dont understund Yandex politicions. Thei company invest over 16 mln$ in my countrys e-market, but still cant make theri bots server friendly as do that google.
