First of all I'd like to thank Joel for making me realize that G+ offers dofollow links... Actually my mind was set that most of the popular SNS add the nofollow tag.

For me G+ is beneficial .... not in terms of traffic but it helps in improving SERP's !! But G+ power users get benefited by both (ie., ranking and traffic).

I may actually add a +1 button on the sharing options on my website for articles. I do have a + account just never used it for that, so ill give it a try to see if it does improve
