Why do you join Forums?

When I join forums i usually just join for posting with some new people and some fun really.. I think joining and just leaving is no point so when I join a forum I'm going to stay active for as long as I can... I do like joining forums that have lots of contest but lots of times that not why I joined..

I personally use forums to learn about new techniques and share my experience and knowledge with others because in this way you can learn a lot and help people to learn something new. However, forums also help you to get links.

previously I joined this one for Social Bookmarking tool !
but Once i started by going through Threads created By IM Expert after that i learned a lot with i am really earning a lot !
I must say that to Understand me What is SEO is all about IMT is one of the Big Factor and this is only forum where i am Active and on else i just Registered !
