Thread: Why do you use Social Sites?

So why do you use Social sites?

If you ask me the reason I use Social Networks is to help promote my sites, but also sometimes to just sit back and chill out with my friends online..

i am using just to promote of my website thats it. otheriwse i will never login on to s.n.w to waste my tyme

Am sure you have already asked this here Yes I use Twitter, FB, Stumbleupon for mine.

Social sites is best place to make your site popular. So, i use it for my site.But you need accurate ideas, and something which make people to come on your site.

I'm trying to stay away from social media as much as possible. I'd rather be updating my sites and blogs with new content. I do promote my sites on social media, but I don't hang there all day.

I don't read what my friends do on Facebook. What a waste of time. I'd rather talk with them face to face.

Basically social media platforms are used to connect with the peoples mutually from the world wide. Now a days these social sites are using to promote an online product and services for a company.

Social media sites are very important and effective to promote your business easily and rapidly because billions of people are there on social media sites, like twitter, facebook, linkedin, google plus etc.

i am using social media sites for 2 Regions -
1. To reach my OLD friends and classamtes, relatives.
2. To share content from my favorite blogs and websites, websites, photo image video news.

Social sites are another great platform to gain traffic and to improve your online presence.

Social site is the best way to gain more traffic and to increase the online product sale ..!! by social sites billion of people know about your company or a product its an great advantage for us ..!!

Nowadays social networking is really helpful to increase traffic day by day.

Promoting sites or products through social sites like SU or DIGG is too much effort for too crappy results. The usual SEO activities like linkwheels and (guest)blogging is better. I use a few social networks to connect and keep in touch with marketers in the same niches as me, networking with potential partners for JVs. Same with niche forums. Makes all the difference in the loong run and chasing quick money methods or promoting products or services through these networks is becoming impossible for most niches...especially the IM/MMO niche.

Networking...networking...networking... Eventually you'll create a circle of "friends" who all support eachother in their efforts.
That's where your business will start booming....

I use FB to Keep in touch with people. These days people use FB more than then do their mail. Also most of these top social networks are good way to get targeted traffic. Specially when you need local traffic.
