Well, I have seen that social networking sites are also based on countries.

For example:

In India ----- orkut
In Philippines ---- Friendster

And so on.......

yes there is not doubt and have their own importance i think when we use facebook, twitter, and linkedin then we also should use national social media site and these are also very important like international social media sites.

I have a Facebook account which 3years in the business already. And recently I got my Twitter account but not for personal use but rather for job use.

Well i have 3 accounts on social networks.I love to always with friends.We used to share every thong about daily happeings .We use to remeber the old friends and friends those who are very far from us.

3)Orkut

Im in Twitter, Google +, Facebook and Linkedin..

I don't have any personal sites, but I have set up pages for the company I work for. We're on facebook, twitter, and Linkedin.

65% Orkut users are brasilian. Now days Facebook is ruling here in India.

for promoting my business, and facebook for friends.

I have got used to do SMO using different social media websites as our company want to expand their reach to international level.I prefer linkedin, as it is popular in lot of countries apart from Twitter.

I recently got to Google +. Still figuring it all out, but seems fun for now.

Just joined Google+ 2 weeks ago as well. We'll have to see if it will really become useful for IM'ers like us.
