Thread: Are you tech geek person?

I admit that.. i am tech geek person... every times new tech come over market. i just want to try it out.. i always change my cellphone according to brand new technology.. besides i also change my laptop if i feel outdated in term of processor and performance

i know it is very bad habit to follow brand new tech each month or each year because it would cost you lots of money

recently the iphone 4S have been launched.. but i am holding up because i would like to know Google brand new smartphones known as Nexus Prime can beat iphone 4S or not

however don't imitate my habit it is bad

LOL there is nothing wrong with following new technology. But that could be because I do the exact same thing whenever I can. I have an iPhone 4, two computers (1 of which is an imported laptop), and both are "kitted" out to the best of my ability. I am already looking at PC stores in the area so I can rebuild them so that my design and gaming experience can be a little faster. (Nope, nothings ever fast enough, that's why one looks at processor power ). I have been into tech since I was 8 and took my first computer apart. (was a commodore 64 back then) but I guess that was the machine that sparked it all.

I used to be a tech geek but I still don't know how my habit changed and now I can stick to any phone for about years. Just recently I sold my BB 8310 had it since it was launched. Now I'm also waiting for nexus prime, I wanted to buy an iphone 5 but since there's nothing of the sort now so still I'm without a smart phone and using a phone LG 199. It feels so out dated and I really loath typing an sms on it but I'm waiting for a phone that will last for at least another year.

i also love to play PC game.. i have 24 inch of samsung LCD along with 2.1 subwoofer speaker... you know when i play left4dead.. the shock moment and the crying of zombie make my neighbors thought i was angry with somebody

Been there, done that I don't think I will be changing phones soon. I would love to, but our exchange rate is still really low, and that means imported goods like smartphones are going to cost me a small fortune. And I am seriously not one for contracts.

My screen is a little smaller (only 17 inches), my laptop is a dell inspiron 9400 and its huge (40cm laptop bag and it barely fits in), Soundwise, my PC is set up with a 5.1 HD surround sound system (window rattlers ), and the motherboard supports 8.1HD Audio. The laptop (aka Crusher), comes in a close second, even without the sound system in place. makes for awesome gaming, but I wouldn't play silent hill, resident evil, or tomb raider at night. (surround sound becomes scary).

latest new spread... i don't know it's true or not... the launching of brand new nexus prime has been delayed.Samsung and Google think it is not right time to launch brand new product while a world sad for the lost of great genius computer - Steve Job

It shows respect for him, which is good, but, if you think about it, its a great marketing tool as well. They care, so they won't launch until the mourning is over, gives them a little rep boost.

as planned they wanna launch the products on 11th october.. but now delay to november.. the fans must wait and respect for Steve for a while

Besides I am not a great tech geek person but I always like to count how much will be return of my investment. So i always prefer to invest on such things that can give me in return something. So i like to buy latest softwares but i can stick with a mobile or laptop for many years. I hardly play any game because i have not enough time to play. I love to spend my spare time with my kid, so I am a bit odd man but that's truly what I am.

I'm an incurable perl-aholic, so I'm real geeky when it comes to code.

But new devices? Nah, been there, done that, just can't get excited anymore. Half the time the gizmo breaks and becomes a headache.

What excites me now are old used cheap computers! :-0 I've learned that if I buy old used stuff, I can just chuck it if it breaks. Instead of buying one new computer, I'll buy 3 old ones, and save money doing it. Thus, if a computer dies, I just chuck it, and fire up the next one. Full reliability, and the end of all repair hassles and bills etc.

I'd still buy any technology that's so cheap that I can just toss it in the trash without a care when it breaks, as they all seem to do before long.

Wow, your expertise impress me..because old stuff seem quite slow in term of performance, i do have a lots of old stuff but do not know how to repair.When the times come i just sold back or just trade in with a new ones

SenukeX is expensive, not really. I have made a group buy and 3 people are sharing monthly fee thats makes it affordable. Also SenukeX is earning at least 500$ per month for me so even spending 147$ per month is not bad. The best thing about my investment is that I have not used a single penny from my reserves. Every tool I have now is bought by the money I have earned working online. Right now, IM earnings are bread and butter for me and for my family. So I have to keep balance with purchasing any tool and money for home. However I normally get a tool per month and set an excellent earning Gig for Fiverr. I like to earn automated cash

what a strategic investment you have... good for you. i intend to buy backlink software that have scheduler function, what do you think the best among the best and worth buying it
