If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

I live in Pakistan and I never ever try to live abroad as my country is the most beautiful country beside all media created stories. However I love to stay for a while at ITALY especially to taste Italian Pizza

I like my country also and I like living here ,
but I would like to visit US/California and maybe to live for few months every year there in the future, because I like what I see from the PC/TV, but never been there...

As for me, I want to live somewhere in Europe. Maybe in The Netherlands or England. I want a home there which is far from the city, far from noise.
So every day could be Sunday? (from your other thread)I want a home there which is far from the city, far from noise.

I would say Australia. the climate is similar to ours, so it wouldn't really be an adjustment for me. If I can't get to Aus, then it would be the US, UK, or a few other countries in Europe.

hopfully i'll study in miami in about 2 years... my greatest dream!
That's so refreshing to hear. There's far too many bad news reports about Pakistan.
I've made the 'big move' once in my life. I'm from England but live in Thailand. I'm moving back to England soon as my wife is expecting our first baby and it's too much faffing and money to do it here, even though the hospitals are light years ahead of the UK - but then I think I'll miss the weather and the beaches, so it's Spain (Murcia or Barcelona) or Italy (Trieste, Napoli or Florence) are definitely on my list. Remember, if you ever do move, you have to deal with the political pressures of that country. In many cases, you'll be an outcast and you'll miss your friends, family and silly little things you take for granted but for the life experience, I'd recommend it whole-heartedly.
I like countries with more jungles and tasty food.
I think it would be cool to live in Maine or Vermount or Cape Cod. Never been there but the scenery looks gorgeous.
The scenery is wonderful, but the weather, not so much. I have seen steady rain (not just a quick shower) every day for two weeks straight and have also seen 45 degree F in the middle of June in New Hampshire. These are not wonderful things for someone who lives in Florida. (45 F is the dead of winter here)

Well, I don't think the Netherlands is a good choice when you want to live far from the city. I don't think there are any countries which have more cities per m2 than the Netherlands. Although most of the cities have a very ''townly-atmosphere''. Even Amsterdam feels like a big village, or the smallest metropole of the world to quote Mick Jagger.
I currently live in the south of the Netherlands. But I'll be studying in Amsterdam within a few weeks. My country is okay. It's quite safe, another thing I personally like is how organized urban planning is. I also enjoy the cosiness in this part of the country.
I wouldn't mind living in London, just for a few years. Some cities in Scandinavia attract me as well. Living near the beach in California would be really cool. Really love the atmosphere. Although I wouldnt want to live in Los Angeles. I went there a few years ago, we chose some cheapass hotels, and to be honest, I never felt myself that unsafe before.
Well the truth is that i love my Country even my native place .I don't want to go far from them.If we have to go for any place for holydays then i will preffer to go Lasvegas .I have herd about it a lot.
I would love to live in Amsterdam Thanks for sharing your experience nescio...
I hope I will be admited to a masters so I can live 2 years there.
I would love to live somewhere around Oslo. Norway is such a nice, low population and rich country.
Hmm there are bunch of places I like to live,
Switzerland, Austria, Bora Bora islands, Seychelles ....
