Thread: .org gives good result ?

HI friends just help to get ideas i got a domain with .org of happy meditations i want to know that if i go for a good content and good seo method can i get ranked in google bcz most of them says that .org wont show good result

Definitely you will get ranked but it will take time approximately 3 months or more.

There are people in the IM community that prefer a .org TLD because they feel that a .org says authority to the general public.

And I'm the one from that IM community

.org domain will also rank as same as the ,com and .net. I don't see any disadvantage with .org domain. But .com is the best, because more people familiar with it !!btw For ranking, it doesn't matter.

they do treat .org in a different manner,,, but as you said that .. i want to know that if i go for a good content and good seo method
if you are doing well than you'll definitely rank high in SERP's.. there's no drawback!!

Backlinks from .org domain is more better than .edu

I dont know who told you that they are crazy .orgs rank great so do .coms, and .nets .The .org domain is second best seo wise,

After .com, the most chosen extension is .org for seo.. So, best of luck man!! proper seo and work you can crack google positions!!

I don't think so. Anyone can buy .org without a problem so its also nearly same as .com and .net !!! no special authority. But .edu has

You even dont need any Keyword domains for better rankings...

and its doesnt matter if this not .com or .net

Most of my Article rank better than keyword domains... I never used keyworddomains

That is not an issue. By creating good unique content and quality SEO. Surely you will get results for your site in search engines..

I have only one org domain and I don't see extension effect SEO. I have been told so many times .info domains won't rank well but majority of my domains are .info keyword domains and those rank very well.

yea, no special effect for domain extension as I know. But .edu .gov has more authority

Could you elaborate on this...since all my keyworded sites rank in the top 10 for competitive keywords. DO you mean you've got an authority site, so creating relevant articles/subdomain you can dominate?

Its been said that .org domain gives you an extra edge over other domain extensions (like, .com, or any other country specific domain)
But as far as I know there is no extra benefit of getting .org domain until and unless you have some good content on it which contributes in user experience. .If you manage to put good quality content on such domains you can rank well in search results with .org domain.
