Freelancer or company? whom you select for PSD to HTML conversion

Today, many companies use PSD to HTML conversion for web development. It saves time and cost for the company. It’s beneficial to opt web Design Company and not a freelancer, because by choosing web Design Company you can get,

Quality : for freelancer person, web development is dependable on his personal skills but hiring a web design company you can get most experienced developer skills for your work. This increased the quality of work.

Support : after completion of website development it constantly needs back up and maintenance services. Which you can easily get from reputed web Design Company.

Management : Many times you can see that freelancers fail to meet deadline of your projects. But for web Design Company they have a strong management team which manages all your project work.

Privacy : there is risk of leaking of project data for giving project work to freelancers. You risk your marketing on trusting freelancers. But in web Design Company they do agreement with you so its trustable for your work and data.

Return : Web Design Company offers you different packages according to your project need and your budget. This gives you guaranteed return of your work for your investment

Hmmm, I tend to disagree on one or two points here. There are many freelancers out there that deliver beyond what you would get from a web design company, also if you choose the contractor properly, then you wouldn't really be putting anything at risk (marketing or design wise). Yes, design companies are important, but at the same time freelancers can also be. There are many designers that are qualified to design sites that do not prefer to be part of a company and decide to go it alone.

To be completely honest, both web design companies and contractors can be a hit and miss, with either or both running the risk of not performing or making deadlines. Methinks that, when you compare companies to freelancers, having a few actual facts to back it all up might be a good idea, lest you hurt a few people's feelings unnecessarily.

I agree with Phoenyx here. Also I like to add something,

Return: Web Design Company offers you different packages according to your project need and your budget. This gives you guaranteed return of your work for your investment
Now a freelancer can go beyond that and offer a totally customize plan to the clients need. Or do it from the scratch for a lot lower price than a company could offer. Risk factor is always there it doesn't matter freelancer or company. Also with all these economic problems companies look for most cost effective ways to do these things. A freelance can save lot rather than hiring someone as a fulltime worker or Web Design company.

I think this is true, there are many freelancers and companies that are true scammers as it is in most businesses online, but you need to weed them out.
The best thing to do so is to avoid cheap freelancers and companies, but this is not the rule off course.
They all have their advantages and disadvantages considering both are good in what they do.
So it really depends what you need.
I do like to use companies if I have standard predefined job to do,
I don't like to work with companies when I have some unique/specific things to do, because they are not flexible as good freelancers are.
But you always need to have plan of your work model, specifications and documentations no matter with whom you are dealing with of those two.
