Thread: How many links I need to build to increase google pr 2 to 3.

My question is about backlink. How many backlink I need to increase pr 2 to 3. One of my client have asked me that he need to increase his site's pr 3. His blog's current pr is 2. So I need to know the answer perfectly as possible.

It depends not in how many backlinks you have it depends on the quality from the backlinks. I have a few sites with less than 50 backlinks and a pagerank 2 and some sites with over 200 backlinks but just a pagerank 1

Quality over Quantity is usually a good rule of thumb when link building for PR. A nice steady stream of solid links will go a long way to getting your sites PR to rise as the updates occur. Just be sure to have some variety in the type of links you continue to add.

The qualitiy from the Backlinks are verry Important. Search for sides with the same title and high pagerrank. Then make there a backlink. That is verry good for your paggerrank

Ok, but is there any specific amount that "if I build 50 or 100 pr 4 or pr 5 backlink that my blog pr will must increase from 2 to 3". Can you give me this type of any idea?

Im not sure there are any specific's at least known specific's as to a certain number of links needed to rise from say PR 2 to PR 3 you just consistently try and add quality links between updates and hope google rewards you for your work with a PR rise.

If your site has a PR 1 or PR 0 and you have just PR 4 , 5 , 6 backlinks its very curios for google. I think you must have a good mix. Some backlinks from PR 2, 3, 4 , 5 some from PR 0. Trusted sites are good for quality backlinks.

Your Website get PR3 if it has :
101 Backlink (PR1) or
18 Backlink (PR2) or
3 Backlink (PR3) or
1 Backlink (PR4+)

The PR of a website depends on the 'Quality' of backlinks which a website have. And the quality depends on the factors like PR of the site from it getting link, OBL and whether the backlink is Dofollow or not etc. Please note only Dofollow backlinks helps to get higher PR.

that know only Google. I think when your links good than u need 50 when there are bad than u need 100000000000

PageRank is ALSO ABOUT TRAFFIC LEVELS - not just links!!! If you can't sustain dozens or hundreds or thousands of visitors a day on average you will not KEEP whatever pagerank you have for very long. If you think the PR# we see is ONLY about 'X number of backlinks' you're kidding yourself, Google uses MULTIPLE metrics to determine PR.
