Thread: Edu and Gov links - If you want a REAL boost in ranking !

I've been working on a few adsense niche sites and one in particular is in a VERY competative niche, so I needed to be sure to get the best quality backlinks as possible with as little effort as possible, as I simply don't have time to do it all myself.

If you've been in IM for a while you probably know that just ONE high PR edu or gov backlink is better than 100 or sometimes even 1000 normal .com backlinks. Then you should use a few fiverr gigs !

It's only 5 bucks per gig and the results are astonishing !

Do a search on fiverr.com for edu backlinks and then sort by "Rating". You'll find quite a few Top Fiverr Sellers in the first 10 results. Pick a few and o der them.

Some backlinks may be nofollow, but with these backlinks it doesn't really matter. Most of these top sellers really put effort into creating natural backlinks by posting quality comments on high PR edu blogs.

This niche site I was talking about...it got from page 6 to page 2 in one week and still not all links have been indexed properly. Another site got from PR 1 to PR 3 in 2 weeks !

Just to let you know...if you invest 15 or 20 bucks on different edu gigs...KABOOM !
It will save you LOTS of time on finding suitable blogs or forums to do manual psting yourself.

so the power of Edu/Gov is not myth? i still remember i had argument with members from other forum when talks about the importance of Edu/Gov link... they doesn't believe at all the power of edu/gov.All they care is about the right strategies and they treat gov/edu domain as same with other domain

I've seen how powerful they are for serps with my own eyes. I have seen from 2 different .EDU domains a newly created blog and forum post that had 0 backlinks pointing to them get to the first page of Google(1 was #1 and the other was #3) within a week after creation for the keyword/phrase that was in the title of the blog and the forum post. And one of the phrases gets 5400 searches a month according to Google Adwords, and the other phrase gets 2900 searches a month. Not the most popular keywords but they still get traffic.

You need to create Pyramid map to boost your website strategically and early.

I heard that now Google don't give much weight to .gov and .edu links. Is this true?

The really do. Wiki, EDU and GOV likes are authority links so they will do allot for increasing SERP and in not too long.
