Iv'e just joined and thought i would say hello :-)

Also i have seen the imtools and just had a question to ask about them.

If you have a brand new site with no backlinks all you have done is content and onpage seo, would using these tools hurt you?

I always here people saying build backlinks but not too many so i'm always confused on how many is ok.

Could someone please let me know what would be ok for a brand new site, and what is the best backlinking startagy for the fastest rankings. by the way my sites are normally fairly low comp and i always get an EMD or very close.

When i say best strategy i mean, if i use the imtools, is it ok to blast it in one day?, what order would you use the tools in?

Just another thing i seen the new social tool $0.01 per backlink that sound pritty good, would it be best just using that, or use the other tolls then add this?

Hey Cameron, welcome to IMT.

To answer your question, the way I would go about backlinking to a new site, is to start off small. It would hurt a new site to have thousands of backlinks pointing to it in a matter of a day or two. I am not saying not to use the tools, but use them in moderation until your site ages a bit and has spent some time in the search engines, so Google can see a steady growth of backlinks and not a huge influx daily.

My explanation actually same as phoenyx..just wanna add something, the main thing you should know, first thing thing for about 1 month old.. you just need to focus more on quality content, then maybe you can use IMT submitter to index all the webpages.. for the next month and after that you can start build backlinks constantly, maybe 10 per day or 50 day or whatever as long as consistent, or you can just set and forget by using IMT bookmark..
