    Smart reciprocal link building

Everywhere I'm reading that reciprocal linkbuilding is a bad way of building backlinks. However in the niche im currently working in reciprocal linkbuilding is the most common way.

But what if you just create a linkpage on an external server. Make nofollow ahrefs, make the page uncrawleble (not sure if this is a word), implement this in an iframe on your moneysite, make that page also uncrawleble.

Or maybe even better: create a .swf file with the links in it.

I'm aware of ''the fact'' that this isn't a very nice way to play the game. So just assume this is a theoretical case Would this be a good way to build reciprocal backlinks?

Be careful with reciprocal link building !

If you want REAL quality backlinks that MIGHT affect your rankings (mostly it doesn't) the "partner" usually requires a certain amount of traffic to their site from your link. If you don't generate enought traffic they will just remove your link. Been there, done that...got the T-shirt. :-)

I stopped using this method, because the value of the backlink was never effective for my websites. If you're in a difficult niche to get normal backlinks (like adult content sites) it might be an idea to try and get high PR backlinks, which is hard to find.

    Hi,
Yes, even I heard that reciprocal links are bad because they drives away traffic from your site. So, try to avoid it.

i never try this method because i don't want any irrelevant link appear on my homepage... i just want to reduce OBL as much as i can, BUT i would think twice if someone offers actual homepage link from PR6 and above.. however i don't think so its gonna happen
