Thread: Backlinks are not indexed - Help!

Hi all,

I created new backlinks for my new blog. But I found my backlinks are not indexed in search engines. Not indexed even in Google. I don't know the reason about this. I used the following query to find my backlinks:

link:www.digitalbunch.com

Please let me know your ideas.

The link: search does not find all the links. I usually see more links in webmaster tools than by the link: search. I just tried a search for one of my sites and the link: search shows two links, but a search for www.mysite.com showed over 37000 results, some from pages on my site but mostly from other places. Maybe try the search in quotes. The search in quotes gave me 2200 results for that site.

use other tools to check for backlinks, you can find them in my "domain buying tips" thread.
Also you can use some other tools that check backlinks.

Webmaster tools...

They will show up eventualy

Thanks for your suggestions. I think it takes time to get backlinks indexed as its a new site

I already tried other backlinks checker tools but same problem.

I think I will, but after I finish this two and have some break .

Yes it is called pingoat or you can use pingler, but at pingoat you need to enter urls one by one, but again I think it is very good tool.

I had a look and found around 141 links to your site. Was that your original number?

We can check manually backlink in google ...i think we can get accurate result..!

you should check your back links manually in Google....I Think you will get good results.

TRY SEOMOZ... they have very strong crawling abilities that will show you your inbound links.

The problem with most of these back link checker's is that they are limited by their resources and ability to crawl the net. Very few entities have the ability to crawl the entire Internet it's unbelievably large and a logistical impossibility for most businesses. you need to be at Titan like Google or Yahoo to get an accurate count of actual back links.

Google only shows you the back links it cares to show you... And it's never going to show you anything that could be to an exploit of the algorithm. Yahoo seems to reveal most but Yahoo's future is shaky at best.

I've been using SEO MOZ so much that I am having a custom application built to use it. It will join all your domains into one account and show you your inbound links Alexa rank SEO MOZ statistics and a whole bunch of other stuff that has been scattered about my computer for years. I will make an announcement here when it is publicly available... Get ready to say goodbye to spreadsheets.

But to answer your question... Don't stress about back links too much I know you're working hard for them everybody is but as I mentioned earlier you may have back links coming in that are helping but nobody is showing them to you like Google.

Also there is rumor that low quality back links will not only have low value but will not show up at all in this latest update from Google. It makes logistical sense... Why store data that you consider to be invaluable. Over the past few years Google has been flooded with mass link spam campaigns and I believe that is what this latest update is about

You can't force google to index backlinks to your sites but let them find naturally.

furthermore, next time whenever you build backlinks don't forget to ping them using any pinging tool like., pingler.com or pingomatic.com
and one more thing you can do is so create feed of those backlinks and ping them using above mentioned pinging services.

you may also use tools like Backlink Index Express but those are the tools bit expensive.

submit them to social media sites like Digg,twitter,reddit and wait until google finds them naturally. You can also ping them if you like to do so. However my opinion is its more better to let google to find links naturally.

The best is to bookmark each link the ping them with the many ping serivces out there for example ping goat.

Now everything is fine. Now, my links are shown by Google. Thanks to everyone!
