Do you guys have any idea how to get Backlinks from Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.

Like if i run search : link:sitename

It should return some results. How to get such results???

I use a search from site called majesticseo. It is very good. Using google search you can also do as you described.

For Google, you can build backlink from google site, groups google, and product reviews google.

Are you asking you want to build backlink on Google, Yahoo or Bing. You want to build backlinks on those website where all the world is trying to rank on them. I guess No!
Apart from this the link:site shows how many backlinks Google genuinely considers to be your backlinks. You can try some other tools like semrush, opensiteexplorer to check what backlinks you have built till now.

The genuine and correct process is to add your website to google web master tools and bing web master tools. It takes some time to appear your website in results.
