    Through Google Goggles??!

If you really want to know how GoogleBot 'sees' your page sign up for webmaster tools and click the 'view as googlebot' link. Alternatively you can download a text only browser like the Lynx Browser and view your pages much like GoogleBot sees them.

While the first reply answered the question literally I suspect that your real question was how do the search engines find a new site in the first place. They follow a link or a hint of some sort. If the site is a WP site, probably the real purpose of the 'Hello World' post is to initiate a ping for the URL. The purpose of the IMT website submitter tool is to provide links to a new site that the search bots will find and follow. There is also manual submission to the search engines available. If you have an Adsense account and put up a new site with Adsense ads Google Mediabot will be there when the page goes live and is viewed through a browser. GoogleBot will not be too far behind. GoogleBot is very good at following links and hints of links on the web and finds most sites in a relatively short time.

Google has software called spiders that visit your website, they read the code those the html code that browsers read too.

check your Google webmaster tools for any serious errors or problems that the spiders encounter - other than that no worries
