Thread: Has Google Replaced Content as King of the Web?

There was an article by Titus Hoskins syndicated in the SitePro News newsletter to which I subscribe. I have read several articles by the author and have always found them to be well thought out and expressed well. Here is an excerpt from the article:

While great content will always get you noticed, I have come to the somewhat obvious conclusion that “Content is NOT King, Google is King” on the web. This is a slightly different mindset when it comes to getting traffic and marketing on the net.

As usual I think that Mr. Hoskins brings up some good points, what do you think?

That is a nice analysis of the hurdles that must be jumped to allow Google to rank your site on its good content (and links I suppose). It is worth a raed. Good spo wink0r.

I was always saying that google is not that "good" and "fair" as majority thinks.
But good content is a must and will get you in right direction.

Talking about content issues, Google is 'picky' sometimes, and sometimes google just take for granted, which i think hard to determine the mind of google, what Mr Hoskins said is true Google is king.. what king might do we can't predict
