Thread: Do you still care about Page Rank?

Hello,

In the last update, Google has given PR0 to my site and from that time I have stopped caring about page rank. Do you still care about page rank of your site? I think people now care more about DA, PA and TF and CF. What do you say?

I would say old methods shouldn`t be forgotten. Who knows? Maybe there will be a time when page rank will be once again glorious

what still works then is still what is working right now thus PR is still very vital

yes I do. How good a site is looking by their PR. SEO and PPC just generated more visitor into it.

If your gets penalty then there will be no use of page rank. Effected website will not appear in first pages of search engine. So there will be no use of thinking about page rank.

I am caring my websites PR and DA/PA because my clients don't buy paid links without DA/PA and also PR most effect able for link selling purpose ..

i do my work on my site regular and full care of my site rank.

According to me site rank is Good for the business reputation. High the page rank show best reputation to the user and help to get the attention of users. if your website have high PR then users comes easily because these day high rank is only gained by providing the quality content. If you provide the quality content to the users then you can easily get the attention of users and Google search reputation.

You are right at some extent. The question is why investing your precious time in something that no longer matter? Instead, that time could have been better spent in techniques that are proven to be effective.

I still care about where my site ranks within Google, but page rank to me is actually just a number in my opinion. From what I recall it doesn't really tell users a thing about how good their site is and how popular it is. As long as the site is high on Google search, then the rank doesn't really matter to me.

I think Bremaine is about right on this. Many people confuse page rank with how high you are up on Google. There's page rating and page rank. If I can remember correctly, page rank is just a number that signifies how popular your site is, it doesn't really pin-point or help your site in any way. Now Page rating or listing I shall say, is where it is located within Google. I may be forgetting the actual word, but I think rating is wrong. Anyways, page rank is just a rank, it's not how high up you are on Google in the search results.

if your website is effected by the Google then your website will not appear on search engine their is no use to think about the page rank. If is not effected then you have to work hard to get a page rank.

Google PR works great.

Instead of Caring PR, am consider about the following
DA Domain Authority
PA Page Authority
DA Domain Age

I agree with you Bro. Because Google No More Update PR. But WE Should Get a Backlink from some Good Value Domains.
