Post How long will Google be top?

Many companies who dominated for many years eventually declined (think Myspace), how long do you think it will be before Google is not considered the top way to search anymore? Or do you think this will even happen at all?

(now Samsung take over the sales) remember myspace? (now facebook take over).. who knows.. one day BING will replace Google

You are giving an example of MySpace and that is something, which have many better alternatives today, but Google has made everything user friendly that is not having any alternative to it, even Yahoo and Bing are not getting anywhere to Google.

It is estimated that Google will remain at the top of the search engines because of innovations is is coming up with all the time. Have a look at all other search engines, they are either following footsteps of Google in evaluating rankings of the websites or simply have decided to remain almost static with no innovations at all.

As soon as you have a glance at forums, blogs and article directories as well as printed books, you will find pieces of news being somehow connected to Google and the algorithm it uses to determine rankings of the websites. Google is never idle and constantly uses new metrics to examine overall positions of the indexed websites.
