I heard that answering sites are very helpful in seo but i can't understand how, i often use yahoo answers and bing answers but as you know you can't share your link in every answer then how you can get traffic from these websites. Please share your experience regarding answering websites.

Yahoo answer is a popular way at seo. You have to find the related question. Then answer the question and put your sites link on the resource. And place a article about that question on your blog/site.
this how you can get good response from yahoo members.

Answering sites are very helpful and important to get traffic and backlinks yahoo answers, wiki answers, bing answer and virtualpromotion these website are very helpful to get good traffic and backlinks in answering sites.

I don't think those help with seo since most of those sites are nofollow, But those sites can get you high quality targeted traffic from search engines.

Not much but if you can get links it would be OK to diversify back links a little bit.

Answering sites can help in bringing direct traffic and are not always for backlinks. Also don't put link in every answers unless it seems relevant.
