just wondered what fiverr gigs you've used for seo. and whether or not they've helped your rankings?

Never use fiverr gigs for backlinks and all seo stuff. Most of them are useless.

They were useless! "Most of them" do not provide proper service. They just want 5 bucks, that's it. They don't give a damm if your website getting good rankings or not.

You probably should not expect an SEO analysis and a service for five bucks. You need to provide the SEO strategy and if the service fulfills a part of your strategy you have done good.

I don't know why people think you can't find good SEO gigs on Fiverr. You can, you just need to be able to sort through all the bad gigs in order to find the good ones. When you do find them, you will see some are worth way more than $5.

And with the addition of Gig Extras, there are a lot of possibilities now for great gigs. Would you get a better deal if you knew where they source their gigs? Probably, but that's not the point of this post. The point is that you can get good SEO gigs on Fiverr. I won't list any gigs here since I do sell on Fiverr and I don't want to be seen as self-promoting.

Unfortunately there ARE a ton of bad gigs that are being sold by Top Sellers, perpetuating the "you can only get bad SEO gigs on Fiverr".

The thing about Fiverr is that many gigs would have great reviews and of course they will, once the seller can verify the work. After work is complete the review is given then and there. You cannot go back and post a new review to state whether the gig had any effect or not. It is therefore almost impossible to find a Gig that would actually affect your rankings positively. I have tried just a few myself and no effect at all, but because the seller did what he was supposed to I had given a positive review. If I could go back now, I would tell everyone not to try those Gigs.

For Social Media, it is perfect to use but not for SEO.

I used Fiverr mostly for SEO so far and about half of the gigs I bought did help my ranks. Even if the gig didn't push me up, I'm still happy as I get some backlink diversity and it's just $5. I'm happy as long as it doesn't push me down, some actually managed to do that.

What do you expect in $5?!

I have used some different fiverr gigs for bookmarking and also link wheels. I have to say that the service was delivered as promised by each of the vendors. However the overall effect on my rankings was basically NIL. I don't think you can expect a full SEO service for 5 bucks, however if you need some grunt work done on the cheap and it fits with where your website is at then maybe you can find some value.

I bought 1000s and ended up with crappy less than 200 links

I am agree with you, but in my experience I did not get 2 much exposure with fiverr gigs strategy

I just bought give you 10 UNIQUE articles for a niche in spintax that pass CopyScape and good for networks, web 2, directories etc for $5 - backlinkguru and they actually delivered 44 spintax articles based around my niche. It's not perfect when reading but it's good enough to put on web 2.0 sites etc and it can generate hundreds of articles for me - for a fiver

The best fiverr gigs are .EDU & .GOV backlinks

there are very good gigs esepecially high PR homapage dofollow backlinks are very cheap and I bought maybe 20 along last 3 months and still nothing changed.
