Informative points, it should be noteable. Header tags are important to get more attention by the Search engine.

Tips for SEO:

The strong tag makes the emphasizes the text, for the human visitor by presenting it in bold face. The strong tag also calls attention to the word for spiders crawling your site. Us it for one instance of your keyword/phrase in a post or article.

According to me you can follow the On page and Off page methods.The on page can help you to improve the PR and the Off page can help you to get more visitors and back links to your site..

Deep linking. Make sure you have links coming in to as many pages as possible. What does it tell a search engine when other web sites are linking to different pages on your site? That you obviously have lots of worthwhile content. What does it tell a search engine that all your links are coming in to the home page? That you have a shallow site of little value, or that your links were generated by automation rather than by the value of your site.

This doesn't hurt at all, let's say your image is called "image_6.jpg", google isn't going to relate that to anything. Include descriptive keywords, ie. "green-sandals.jpg"

So, does that mean I should always use an H3 tag instead of hitting bold? Can I use it more than once on a page or does that get tricky? I have used bolded headers on several sites. Thanks!

The page/article title should be your h1 tag. Section headings should be h2 tags. Sub-section headings should be h3 tags, and so on. You should only have one h1 tag per page, but h2 - h6 may be used as many times as necessary. h tags should not be used within the body of a paragraph. The bold tags should be used to bold face a word or phrase within a paragraph.

Try to avoid your content in Flash, frame, images, java script because crawler find it very difficult and it is against seo tips and guidelines.

You can also use <em> </em> besides from <strong>
And try to include the keyword you're after in the first paragraph
Don't forget to build internal linking among your webpages

Using H3 is better than <strong>, but the thing is it will make your whole sentence (or paragraph) into H3 tag, not just your keyword

I use my own url shortener to be able to set my own file names on images from affiliate network.

I get 80% - 90% percent of the traffic to my affiliate product feed based sites from image search.

The file name on images seems to make a big difference.

What URL shortener did you use?

It's part of my code to handle product feeds from the affiliate network.
I wrote all of it myself.
I think you could use the GoCodes plugin in wordpress if you don't have to many images to handle manually.
